Continuing with the theme on how these fruit protection bags and sleeves with their handy drawstrings make them more versatile than ‘just’ protecting fruit, I also find them useful for protecting seeds.
This is the the smallest bag, a perfect size for some seeds I had been stratifying in the fridge, and now ready for the big and dangerous outdoors:

This same size proved invaluable protecting this kale and broccoli from attack - a rat (I later worked out) had bitten the kale clean in two prior:

The drawstrings made securing those snugly around the 90 mm bottomless pots too easy!

Stumbled into IT and publishing of all things.
Discovered jujube trees and realised that perhaps I should have been an agronomist…
So I combined all the above passions and interests into plant-related websites and blogs, on which I write about plants, gardening, botany, soil chemistry, soil microbiology and biochemistry!
If you have any deep interest in microbiology and/or biochemistry, and how these apply to plants, I’m writing a deep-dive online book From Soil to Fruit here.
