- Stock: In Stock
- Model: coir-pole-60cm
These coir poles are not only functional and durable, but attractive as well, making them great all-rounders for both indoor and outdoor plants.
Dimensions:
Outside diameter: approximately 45 mm
Total length: approximately 590 mm
Length of wooden stake (depth in pot): approximately 105 mm
Length of coir pole (height above pot surface): approximately 485 mm
Length of two coir poles, joined (height above pot surface): approximately 970 mm
Length of three coir poles, joined (height above pot surface): approximately 1,455 mm
The solid wooden stake is dual-purpose. It can be driven deep into a pot to anchor the pole firmly, or it can slot seamlessly into the top of another pole to extend the height.
The pole is made of a roughly centimetre-thick ring of fine, soft and somewhat spongey coir fibres wrapped around a firm plastic tube for rigidity and strength. This is plenty of material for aerial roots to attach to, making these popular with growers of epiphytes like dragon fruit, Monstera spp., Philodendron spp.,Pothos spp., Hoya spp., and many orchids.
The photos show vanilla vines growing up a 60 cm coir pole, held in place with 50 mm diamter coir pole rings until roots attach.

Especial Note Regarding Large Air-Pot® Orders
Depending on the order, we may suggest that large Air-Pot® orders are best sent directly to you from the warehouse.
Especial Note Regarding Jujube Trees
When posting out bare-rooted jujube trees, we routinely trim them to fit the box and keep postage costs to a minimum. These trees are typically knee-high when planted out, though some may be smaller.
This of course doesn’t apply for pick-ups, and in fact we will set aside the tallest trees specifically for this purpose. These trees can often be hip-high, and sometimes taller again.
Please note that this is not a guarantee, as heights of different cultivars can differ from year to year.
